More Easter Fun..

Easter Fun Part 1..

We have had a great week full of Easter Fun ( I will have to put the pictures in a few posts:)
Angelina had her first Easter Egg Hunt on Tuesday with the kids from our ward from church.

We had to bring a treat to share, so we made Easter cookies! She loves making cookies, the hard part is me trying to keep from eating them:) Still have 3 weeks till the end of our fitness competition!

Busy, Busy!

Hello!

Here is a quick update with some pictures! We have been busy, busy, but are really enjoying 2009 so far! It has been great to have lots of out of town family visit, and we cant wait for Heidi and Chris to come in a few weeks!

Chris and I are half way through our fitness contests! Only 8 weeks to go and we are both making great progress- hopefully the grand prizes are in our future:)

Angelina is doing great, she absolutely loves her ballet and tap class, and we joined a new playgroup which is alot of fun for both her and I to make new friends. She will be starting her swimming refresher course in April. Mostly she is just cracking us up with her very big vocabulary- honestly, the kid can say anything! She loves to sing songs and I am amazed at how she hears a song and then repeats it!
We have started the potty training thing, but I didnt want to force her so we are just taking our time with that.

I started taking cake decorating classes which I really enjoy! Chris didn't like the fact of me starting these classes while we are doing our contests since we cant eat the finished masterpieces- but it is alot of fun:)

Chris and I are going to Miami in May for a weekend trip, which will be alot of fun, Angelina will have a blast staying with Uncle Richie and Aunt Rose!

And we are looking forward to our family vacation in September...a Disney cruise!:) cant wait!

Happy 2009!

Happy New Year!

I am very excited for 2009, I have lots of pictures to post but this particular post is going to be about the latest in our lives!

Angelina had a wonderful Christmas, the most exciting thing to report is she now has graduated to a "Big Girl Room", the crib is gone and she now has her very own big girl bed, which she loves! We are amazed at how well the transition has gone and she absolutely loves it!! She is growing so fast, it amazes me she will be 3 in less than 6 months!

We have had a busy month so far with out of town company, my cousin Heidi came last weekend and we had a great time doing "girl stuff". I already miss her. Another cousin of mine, Melinda will be here this coming week so we have lots of plans to hit the Disney Parks! I cant wait to see her!

Chris and I have each entered Fitness (body transformation) contests, they are each 16 weeks long, and have very desirable prizes. We began training for them on January 1st! Hopefully in May I will be able to report that we won:)

Angelina's Christmas Fun!

Merry Christmas Everyone! We hope this holiday season is a great one for each of you!
We have had a busy and fun holiday season so far! We went to Dallas for Thanksgiving, Chris went to the Cowboys game and Angelina and I got to spend the day with family!

I am posting some pictures from her Christmas party with her church friends and some pictures of her and her friend Anthony making Christmas cookies for Daddy! There is also a few pictures of us at Disney's Hollywood Studios Osborne Festival of Lights!
Angelina is going to a Cookies and Cocoa party with Santa this weekend!

She also just had her first Dance Recital(she is in a ballet,tap class), which she loves just like her Mommy did:)
They had their Winter Showcase last weekend. She was a reindeer..(pictures coming soon..)

"Wonder Woman" goes Trick or Treating!

Happy Halloween! Angelina went Trick or Treating with her cousin Patrick. She had a great time!

Sea World Halloween Spooktacular!!

We had a great time at Sea World's Halloween event. We met up with our friends Ashley, Joe and Anthony. Angelina wore her Wonder Woman costume which was a hit! Here are some of the cute pics we got.

Angelina and Anthony just adore each other, I met Anthony's mom Ashley when I worked at Outback last Christmas. We have become really good friends. These pictures were taken at Sea World.





Angelina and Gianna are so cute together!
Gianna's mom Shayna is a very dear friend of mine from college days, we lost touch for several years but got back in touch a year ago. When we did get back in contact we found that we both had baby girls! Angelina is exactly 3 months to the day older than Gianna. They are now taking Dance class together! I can't wait to watch them grow together!

Angelina Graduates from Swim Lessons!

We are so excited that Angelina has finished her second year of Swim Lessons! She did great and we feel very confident with her in the pool.

.....So, summertime is winding down(of course the 90 degree days remain;)
Anyway, we are excited for the fall and coming holiday months!

Angelina has been so funny lately, she repeats everything she hears, and I MEAN EVERYTHING:), she loves to sing and play dress up and she has 2 favorite stories to read at bedtime, the other day she was in her room and over the monitor I heard her reading the stories...(sorry to be one of those bragging mom's that usually annoy me but I am so proud of her!) She also says "bless you" if you sneeze and she reminds us to say prayers at dinner(she repeats what we say!)..

Swim lessons are almost finished and she actually enjoys it this year unlike last year- which was 5 weeks of crying every time we got there. Now she asks to go to swim, although maybe that's because she can get a lollipop?

We went to Sea World with our friends Ashley and Anthony a few weeks ago and had Breakfast with Elmo and friends..Angelina enjoyed the dancing and singing!

We have lots of fun planned for the next few months...lots of friends birthday parties, Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom, Halloween(we are still thinking about costumes?), Dallas for Thanksgiving...
