Kindergarten has arrived...

Well summer is once again coming to a close. I really do love summertime, I am beach girl for sure.
But, I love the FALL and the changes it brings. This year end of summer is bittersweet for me. Tomorrow Angelina is going to Kindergarten...ahhhhh!
I know she is more than ready and will love it and I truly am excited for her BUT...inside my heart is breaking just a bit. Not only is she my little girl, but she is my only child. The house will be quiet, YoGabba Gabba, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, etc...will not be on in the background....The days of the adorable baby/toddler/preschooler have gone and I can see her growing up....

Aside from all this mushy stuff..she has a wonderful teacher and we are very blessed that she will be attending a great school. I am already in over my head as Membership Chair in the PTA, and Room Mom...

So here goes another year....

End of the School Year!??(Really?!)

So, I know I promised to blog more regularly....LOL! That didn't happen....
However, we have had a crazy and stressful several months..so that is my excuse. I will not get into all that now..on to my entry.

Ahhh...I knew this day would come...this Thursday my Angelina Maria will be graduating from pre-school. I am excited for her but sad for me. She is more than ready for Kindergarten, but I.am.not.
She has had a wonderful 2 years at the University Carillon preschool. I am so thankful for our decision to enroll her last year, she has thrived both socially and academically. I had the wonderful opportunity to be her class room mom this year- it was wonderful to be able to share so many experiences with her. I do look forward to her starting this new chapter, but I am reminded daily that my sweet little baby is no more- soon she will be an elementary school kid. I thank the Lord everyday for sending me this sweet child. I look forward (bittersweet) to embarking on the next few years of our journey!

On another note..We have a fun filled summer planned! Happy Summertime!!!!!!!

Personal Training:)

Finally, I am almost a Certified Personal Trainer. I feel this is a great step for me. Both Chris and I are very into fitness. I have wrote several nutritional meal plans and workouts for friends and family. I am excited to move forward and really get into my new career. I am especially excited to be able to assist people in changing how they feel about themselves and their appearance. I have come into contact with so many individuals that are so down on themselves and so self conscious about how they look. I really do feel that fitness is more about how you feel emotionally and not just physically. It is not about being thin...it is about being happy with yourself!
Its time to change how we feel...cheers to Health in 2011!~

Getting to know me....

So, I have been thinking about this whole blog thing for a while...I usually use it to keep friends and family up to date with pictures of my little girl and her/ our adventures...but I have decided to take it to a new level:) YAY! Soooo, here goes a bit of of fun info that you may or may not care to know about me:

1) I have started writing a book- yes its true! I figure if Stephenie Meyer can do it and get famous ...well, why can't I????
2) I can't start my day off right if I don't make my bed (or my daughter's)- it really bothers me.
3) I have started to learn italian- I have CD's in my car that I started listening to when Angelina is not in there of course;)
4) I hate rainy and cloudy days- I feel like I am suffocating, seriously I need sunny days
5) I love sweets/deserts- all kinds...
6) My bucket list is soooooo long, I add new things daily
7) I cry every time I think about my daughter going to Kindergarten in August
8) I want a nose job-I have a deviated septum;)
9) I am almost a certified personal trainer:)
10) I am starting a fashion blog...stay tuned....
11) It irritates me when women try to be supergirl, supermom, superwife, supereverything...just be happy and you don't have to prove yourself to anyone!
12) After 9 years I still get excited when my hubby calls:)
13) I want to attend the Oscars someday!
14) I get so excited when I get new clothes, shoes, jewelry...etc...It is like an addiction!
15) I don't make friends easy at all- most people don't get the chance to really know me- and usually just don't like me.
16) I am brutally honest, I keep it real- people will always know where they stand with me
17) I love going out to eat- I think it is so fun to try new places
18) I miss my BF Maria so much- I know she comes back and visits me often- I feel her spirit all the time.
19) I love to decorate/redecorate/ change my house around-my hubby calls it my mid-midlife crisis:) lol!
20) I always get teary-eyed at the dolphin show at Sea World...

So, there is a fun bit of info about me..Stay tuned for more useless facts:)

Floridians in Vermont.....

We took a ski trip to Smugglers Notch Ski Resort in Vermont in january. It really was fun, but a bit to cold for this Florida girl. Angelina enjoyed playing in the snow, we all took ski lessons and we even ate at cute little mountain restaurant-named "Angelina's Restaurant".

December 2010 continued....

We had such a great holiday season! We went to Grinchmas at Universal Studios,Sea World Christmas, fun holiday activities at Angelina's school and lots of fun with family!
I even got a little crazy and did crafts! The bow and shirt are made by me:)! So fun!!!

Almost 2011!!!

Another year is coming to a close...looking back at my resolutions for 2010, I would say I am about 60% accomplished?? i guess that is not too bad! I always get excited for the prospect of a new year full of new projects, exciting plans, vacations....my list of resolutions/goals is loooonnnggg! This is good though! I am hoping to make my blog into more of a daily journal rather than just pictures! So heres to a new year!!!! Cant wait to see what it brings!!!!!
